Great Gift for the Horse Lover! Brings an early morning smile to the avid horseman! This Dancing Horse Design mug is hand thrown and hand carved with a light grey glaze and blue/grey rim. (Click on pic above for larger view). Each mug is in the 12 ounce range (medium mug). Each piece is lead free, dishwasher and microwave safe. As with all hand crafted pottery the coloring and size will vary from piece to piece, making each piece a one-of-a-kind. The Artists: Our artist, Jim, founded his pottery in 1978. He had just returned from 5 years in Japan where he had lived on the land, renovated old farm houses, worked with well-known Japanese potters, built a kiln, and accidently obtained a Masters Degree in Japanese Literature.
